Update on COVID-19 preparedness
Ingredients
Chipotle Pepper & Mesquite BBQ Chicken Burgers:
- 2lbs Crescent Foods Ground Chicken
- 1 Chopped Jalapeno, seeds included
- 1 Tbsp ground Chipotle Pepper
- 1 Tbsp Chipotle Pepper Flakes
- 2 Tbsp Chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 Tbsp Sea Salt
- 2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 2 Tbsp Mesquite flavor BBQ seasoning
- 6 oz Chopped White Onions
- ½ C Panko Crumbs
For the Dish:
- 8 Grilled Chipotle Pepper & Mesquite BBQ Chicken Burgers
- 3 C Purple Cabbage Slaw
- 4 EA Hard Boiled Eggs
- ½ C Peach Sriracha Sauce
- 8 Sesame Hamburger Buns
Method
- In a large mixing bowl, place the ground chicken.
- Prep and measure the cilantro, jalapeno and onion. Add to the bowl containing the ground chicken.
- Measure the rest of the ingredients and add to the bowl.
- Gently mix all the ingredients into the ground chicken. Make sure not to overwork the chicken.
- Place in the refrigerator for 1 hour before grilling.
- Cook until internal temperature reaches 165*F in a calibrated thermometer.
- Place the burger on the bun and top with some cabbage slaw and hard-boiled egg slices, and drizzle with Peach Sriracha Sauce.
- Serve
