Mike DuCharme is an accomplished Sales Manager and Meat Industry Professional with over 30 years of experience in Retail and Food Service channels. He is currently serving as the Senior Sales Manager for Crescent Foods, a leading Halal food company based in Chicago.
Prior to joining Crescent Foods, Mike has held various managing positions with several well respected and prominent industry leading companies. He started his career with Albertsons Supermarkets, working as a Butcher and Meat Department Manager. After 20 years in Retail Meat Trade, he made the transition to outside Sales Account Management, where he worked with Petaluma Poultry Processors, Coleman Natural Foods and Perdue Farms.

Pete Eckes is an accomplished business executive with over 30 years of experience in the meat industry. He is currently serving as the Vice President of Business Development for Crescent Foods, a leading halal food company based in Chicago.
Prior to joining Crescent Foods, Pete Eckes has held various executive positions with some of the biggest names in the meat industry. He started his career with Tyson Foods, where he worked in sales and marketing roles. Later, he worked with Seaboard Farms, IBP, Swift, and JBS, where he held leadership positions in sales, marketing, and business development.
Pete Eckes has also served as the Senior Director of Business Development at Walmart, where he was responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives across multiple business units.
Throughout his career, Pete Eckes has been known for his expertise in business strategy, sales, marketing, and supply chain management. He is widely recognized as a thought leader in the meat industry and has been invited to speak at several industry conferences and events.

Huthyfah Abed is an accomplished Sales and Business Development leader with nearly 20 years of extensive Halal Industry experience. His career in the Halal Industry began at Crescent Foods in Operations and over the years his passion grew for Sales and Business Development. He currently holds a position as the Executive National Sales Director. Mr. Abed has also worked with communities and its leadership in harmony with market leaders to help develop Halal Meat & Poultry solutions for year-round consumer access across the United States.
Throughout his career, he has enjoyed assisting with the development of halal food programs from concept to market. This positioned Mr. Abed at the forefront of growing consumer demand but also having the ability to service market voids. Mr. Abed has also developed regional and national distribution channels to support and serve weekly market demand. One of his primary focus points has been to assist Retail and Food Service operators develop their Halal Hand-Cut Sales segment.

He now holds the title of Vice President at Crescent Foods. Ibrahim has been instrumental in leading the penetration of Crescent Foods into mainstream channels across the US. He was essential in the development and launch of Crescent Foods direct to consumer platform, both online and fulfillment strategies. He is at the helm of expanding Crescent Foods into the retail and foodservice sectors while remaining committed to his core values and ethics. Ibrahim’s educational background includes Marketing and a concentration in Sales leadership, from DePaul University - Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.
