Update on COVID-19 preparedness
Ingredients
- 12 Crescent Foods chicken drumsticks
- 4 tablespoons gochujang
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons mirin
- 3 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 3 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon gochugaru
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
- 1 bunch scallions, chopped
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Method
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- In a large bowl, whisk together gochujang, soy sauce, mirin, brown sugar, sesame oil, gochugaru, and garlic.
- Reserve 1/3 cup of the marinade in a separate bowl. Add drumsticks to a large bowl and toss to fully coat.
- On a parchment-lined baking sheet, add drumsticks in a single, even layer.
- Roast in the oven for 20 minutes, then every 5 minutes brush chicken with the reserved marinade until chicken is just cooked through, about 40 minutes in total.
- Top chicken with scallions and sprinkle with sesame seeds, plate and serve.
