Update on COVID-19 preparedness
Ingredients
- Mini naan bread
- 1lb Crescent Foods ground beef
- 1 large onion chopped
- 1 tomato chopped
- 1 jalapeno chopped
- choice of herbs- I used fresh mint (about 1/2 cup)
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tbsp beef shawarma spice (or all spice)
- 1 tsp sumac, 1 tsp crushed black pepper
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- Optional: 1 tsp harissa sauce
- salt to taste
- pine nuts (toasted)
Method
- Mix all the fresh ingredients, spices, and tomato paste with the ground beef
- Take a naan bread and spread the filling on each naan
- Bake at 400 for 8-10 mins
- Top it off with toasted pine nuts and serve
