LOOKING FORWARD TO 2022

We hope you had an amazing 2021! We sure did, thanks to your support over the past year. The last two years have bought many changes around us and we’re glad to have had you along for the ride. And, we have some exciting things planned for 2022 that we know you’re going to love! 

As we head into the new year, we would like to recap some of the highlights we had in 2021.  The most exciting has to be making it on the front cover of the ‘Meating Place’ (North America’s online community for beef and beef processors). It was a proud moment for the company and we were excited to have been recognized as one of the leading Halal Hand-Cut meat organizations in the country.  

January 

Crescent Foods had a great start to the new year by adding several new retailers on board – Wegmans, Lucky, Save Mart, Food Maxx and select Cub Foods to name a few!  

February 

We launched our exclusive Halal Chef Merchandise! 

March April May 

Readied and launched our customers’ favorite Ramadan Recipes, where we worked with bloggers and influencers to craft exclusive recipes that are revealed daily throughout Ramadan! To celebrate Ramadan is to give, and so we were very honored to partner with Ma’ruf Dallas and help them give back to local communities. Through our partnership we were able to provide families with $27,000 in 20 days. 

June 

To celebrate 26 years of Crescent Foods we held the first Crescent Foods Day! Crescent Foods Day consisted of an employee appreciation lunch, social media giveaways, going live with the Crescent Foods team and a special sale on Shopcrescentfoods.com Stay tuned for celebrations of 27 years 

July 

Our product availability expanded, and we launched our products at select Angelo Caputo locations! 

August 

We excitedly announced the Halal On Campus dining option, which allows universities to partner with us for premium halal meat options!  

September 

Added Saad Meats onto our list of retailers!  

October 

We launched Taste of Crescent, a road trip of sorts, where we visited several retailers across the nation to promote and sample our marinated poultry.  Needless to say, it was a success!  We were able to meet our retailers and customers firsthand, allowing them to experience our products and to literally get a taste of Crescent Foods.  

November 

Partnered up with IRUSA to give out 15,000 of our halal hand cut turkeys to those in need; doubling the impact from 7,000 last year. By working hand in hand with 40 organizations throughout the nation, we helped many less fortunate families celebrate Thanksgiving this year. In fact, IRUSA declared this their biggest Turkey distribution yet. We also partnered up with LaunchGood where a portion of our sales was given to campaigns improving communities globally.  

December 

Excited to share that select HEB locations are also part of the family!  

We also did several giveaways this year with an overwhelming response from our audience, as well as introduce an Ebook which was compiled of recipes, activities for the kids and just fun stuff! 

 

We would also like to add that we cannot imagine where our business would be without our exceptional team. Thank you to everyone at Crescent Foods who helped our business thrive this year.
