Ingredients
For the Burger
- 4 large garlic knots (recipe below)
- 4 Crescent Foods Angus Beef Burgers
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 4 slices fresh mozzarella cheese
- Good quality store-bought pesto sauce
For the Garlic Knots
- 20 ounces store-bought pizza dough
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons fresh minced parsley
- Kosher salt
Method
For the Burger
- Grill beef burgers over medium-high heat until cooked to desired doneness.
- Slice garlic knots in half and top with cooked beef burger, tomato slice, fresh mozzarella, and pesto sauce. Devour immediately!
For the Garlic Knots
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Divide dough into four equal pieces and roll into “sticks”. Twist and tie the dough into large knots and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 20 minutes, until golden brown and just cooked through.
- Meanwhile, combine garlic, butter, and olive oil in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave until butter is just melted through, about 30 seconds. Stir in parsley and season generously with Kosher salt.
- Brush knots generously all over with the garlic butter mixture.
