Chinese Orange Chicken


  • 24 oz Crescent Foods Breaded Chicken Breast Chunks
  • 1 cup Orange Juice
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 tbs White Vinegar
  • 2 tbs Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chili Flakes
  • Orange Zest from 1/2 orange
  • 1 tbs Cornstarch


  1. Cook the Breaded Chicken Chunks as desired based on instructions on package
    1. 18 minutes in an air fryer
    2. 18-23 minutes in an oven
    3. Deep fry
    4. Pan fry
  2. While the chicken is cooking, add orange juice, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and red chili flakes in a medium sized pot and heat for 3 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the cornstarch with 2 Tablespoons of water to form a paste. Add to orange sauce and whisk together. Continue to cook for 5 minutes, until the mixture begins to thicken. Once the sauce is thickened, remove from heat and add orange zest.
  4. Once the breaded chunks are cooked, in your serving bowl add the chunks and pour the sauce overtop and mix together to ensure that all pieces are coated.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
