Ingredients

4 burrito-size flour tortillas, warmed

Refried beans

1 package frozen French fries, baked according to package directions

Carne Asada, recipe below

Shredded cheddar cheese

Pico de Gallo

Guacamole

 

for the Carne Asada

1 ½ pounds Crescent Foods ribeye or strip steak

¼ cup vegetable or canola oil

¼ cup fresh orange juice

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon chili powder

½ cup chopped cilantro

Kosher salt

Method

Top each tortilla with a thin, even layer of refried beans.  Add french fries and carne asada.  Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese, then top with spoonfuls of pico de gallo and guacamole.  Wrap into a burrito and devour.

 

For the Carne Asada

Combine all ingredients in a Ziploc bag or shallow dish.  Add steak and toss to coat.  Allow to marinate at least 4 hours or up to overnight.

Preheat grill or medium-high heat.  Remove steak from marinade and lightly brush off most of the cilantro.  Grill until seared on both sides and cooked to a medium rare.  Let rest for 5 minutes, then thinly slice.
